Here is the round robin match format at the Pink Ribbon Pickleball Classic for Breast Cancer::
Divisions with 3 teams will have best of 3 game matches. Each game to 11 points winning by 2 points. If teams are tied after the round robin play, a playoff match will be one game to 15 points, winning by 2 points to determine the winner.
Divisions with 4 or more teams will play a single game to 11 or 15 points, each game won by 2 points. All four teams will go to playoffs, so the initial round robin matches will determine seeding for the Playoffs. Matches in playoffs will be one game to 15 points winning by 2 points.
Divisions with 7 or more teams have been split into Groups. Each Group will have round robin match play of one game to 11 points winning by 2 points. The top two teams in each Group will go to the Playoffs to determine Division winners. Playoff matches will be one game to 15 points winning by 2 points.
• In all matches, Choice of Side or Serve is determined by the Team listed on TOP of the score sheet for each match or the higher seed in a playoff situation.
• In 11 point matches, Teams switch sides when one team reaches 6 points.
• In 15 point matches, Teams switch sides when one team reaches 8 points.
• In a best of 3 game match, Teams switch sides after each game. If a third game is needed, Teams switch sides when one team reaches 6 points.
Each team has one, 2 minute, timeout in each game this does not include an injury timeout which is situational based.
Each Division will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies awarded.
