Your season starts on Tuesday, September 15th. All matches will be 6:30ish so we can get warmed up and start before 7pm.

I have published your Draw bracket. Use the Decatur Pickleball app to see your opponents and keep up with your weekly match results.

Below are the match format details:

Each week teams play best of 5 games to determine winner for the match that week. Each game will be to 11 win by 1 point.  After each game teams switch sides until 5^th game whereas teams switch sides when one team reaches 6 points. Each team is allowed one timeout per game. 

Choice of serve or side is determined on the court except during playoffs where the higher seed has choice of serve or side to start the match. Balls are on courts for you to use at the facilty. And I always have extra paddles from my brand ONEshotPickleball.com 

USAPA rulebook will be used: https://usapickleball.org/docs/ifp/USAPA-Rulebook.pdf  Matches will self-umpire. Disputes will be settled by Section 6 D3-D13 in USAPA rules. 

You can reschedule matches if needed, players can be contacted through the mobile app. and yes, Substitutions for missing players can be made during regular season.  You can reach out to players in your Division through the MEMBERS section of the Decatur Pickleball Club to request subs. or ask the Pickleball Queen, coach Anne Clarke, c. 404-587-7887 to help out.
