Hi All,

I have updated the schedule for your Indoor Pickleball League at Decatur Pickleball Club.

• Intermediate Division on Tuesdays at 7pm 

• Recreation Division on Wednesdays at 7pm

Each Division now has 7 teams, meaning ONE team will have a BYE (no match) each week.

so Tim Cox and Cassie Turnipseed had a BYE yesterday, Tuesday, June 9th.

and Sarah and Charles Haughton have a BYE tonight, Wednesday, June 10th.

Please try to come early - 6:30ish - to Decatur Pickleball Club so we can start matches by 6:45 to 7pm each night.

Your regular season matches are best of 5 games; winning each game by 1 point. Side or Serve is determined on court (flip for it). Teams switch sides after each game. If you do get to a 5th game; teams switch sides when one team reaches 6 points. Yes, each team gets one time out, if needed, during each game. 

All teams will play each other in your Division; so you have 9 weeks plus one week of playoffs. The top 4 teams will go to Playoffs at the end of the season. Playoffs will be played best of 3 games to 11; win by 2 points in a double elimination format.  Division Winners will be awarded medals:  Gold for 1st Place; Silver for 2nd Place; Bronze for 3rd Place.
