Welcome to Pickleballin’ for Brains, a charity pickleball tournament!
All proceeds benefit the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation who provides funding for research, academic scholarships, patient programs and support groups for those impacted by a brain tumor.
If you have any questions about the tournament, volunteering, becoming a sponsor or donating, please email Joy Basham at events@sbtf.org.
Events: We will have singles, doubles and mixed doubles events for Open, 50+ and 60+ and 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 levels.
As registration proceeds, tournament management reserves the option to combine brackets as needed if brackets do not fill. If there is any level that has less participants, we will merge the age groups within the same skill level first. If there is still less entries, we will move them to the next higher skill level event. If brackets are combined to create playable brackets, awards will be based on the original division and not the combined bracket. Tournament management also reserves the right to convert brackets to double elimination if necessary. NOTE: there are limited spots for each event, so don’t wait to register.
Draws/brackets will be set once registration closes on Wednesday, Nov 9th at 12 noon and we are able to confirm anyone missing partners, in mismatched events etc.
An email will go out to you with your draws/brackets and event times, on Thursday, Nov 10th by 7 pm est. Please be sure you check your email and spam/junk throughout the day.
