Welcome to CapitAL 002, LLP's first tournament in Montgomery metro, the Capitol of AL. 

Event Timings: (Not all events start at the same time) 

Adults Singles - Sunday 11AM

Men's Doubles and Women's Doubles - Sunday 1PM

Mixed Doubless, Junior Singles and Doubles - Sunday 4PM

Exact match timings for each event will be published when we post the draws for each of the events. 

Events: We'll have doubles and mixed doubles events for 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and Open levels. We have the same events in 50+ and 60+ age groups as well. Minimum of 4 entries required for each event. If there is any level that has less participants, we will merge the age groups within the same skill level first. If there is still less entries, we will move them to the next higher skill level event. 

Courts: 12 Outdoor dedicated courts with permanent nets.  

Balls: Core Premium Pickleballs. Please purchase balls at 35% discount if you want to buy the balls online at corepickleballusa.com. 

Partners: Each player needs to register on the website or on our mobile app separately. You can sign up even if you don't have a partner and select the partner later. If you don't find a partner before the due date, we will refund your money. 

Water and Bananas: We enourage you bring your own water bottles. We will provide water just in case. We will also have Bananas for all players. (Not for spectators, please).   

Match Format: Round robin matches are played for 11 points, win by 2 points. Playoffs/ Single Elimination matches, except the Final matches will be 15points. Final match in a single elimination round may be a 11 point, best 2 out of 3 format. 

Brackets: All events will begin with Round Robin. We use them for seeding and elimination as needed. You are guarenteed to play at least three matches in any event. Top 2 or 4 players/ teams in each group will play the playoff. The next two players/ teams will play in the Consolation Round based on court avaiability. 

Early Birds: The first 50 players or players who sign up before end March will get LLP Hats or Visors for free. Early birds will also get all their events for $35. After that the price will be $40 for first event and $10 for the additional event. Once it crosses 100 players, the price will be $45 and $10. 

T-Shirts and Hats: You can buy LLP T-shirts at the tournament for $15. Hat/ Visor for $10. If you are not playing in the event, but want to purchase the T-shirt, you can buy it at a2mpickleball.com.   

Medals and Prizes: There will be medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each event. All Gold medal winners will get a discounted entry to the next event. 

MVPs: Two MVPs (one for Men and Women) will win a free Paddle from our sponsors. We need at least 150 players in the tournament to get the MVP prizes. 

Coupons: If you are coming to play in our tournament from a different state, please use GUEST20OFF coupon to get 20% off the registration fee! If multuple family members coming from the same household, please use FAMILY5OFF to get $5 off each player. Coupons not valid during Earlybird offer and can't be combined. 

Medical Waiver: By registering to this event, you are signing a medical waiver form electronically. You don't need to print the form and bring it to the event. 

Rain out/ Weather: In case of rain, some Friday matches will be played on Sunday. Matches may be delayed up to 3 hours before cancelling. Players will get discounted entry ($15 off) for the cancelled events to any of our our future tournaments. No refund will be given. 

Withdraw/ Refunds: You can withdraw from the tournament with full refund until the Withdraw/ Refund date. After that date, no refunds will be given.
