Welcome to our 3rd Peter Chang Badminton Tournament, started in the honor of our Badminton Legend, Mr. Peter Chang. At age 72, Mr. Chang is extremely active player, a great inspiration to all our members and a mentor for players at all levels and ages. It's a great honor to be able to organize a tournament on his name. 

The tournament is open for everyone at all levels (Amateurs, B Level and A Level). A player can only register to play one format (singles/ doubles/ mixed doubles) in one Level. However, same player can play different Levels and Age groups in different formats. 

As Badminton is keeping us active even as we age gracefully, we added Singles and Doubles events for 50plus age group as well. 

First 25 players to register will get free T-Shirt as early bird gift! 

This will be a consolation type tournament, so you will play at least two matches minimum. Please note that all consolation draws will be played after the main draws are completed.

All matches in the main draws will be played for 21 points, best of 3 games. Consolation matches are played for 15 points, best of 3 games.  

Registrations close on June 7th.  NO WALK-INS ALLOWED. 

Medals will be given to first place and 2nd place in the main draw in each event. We have a total cash prize of $2500 for the tournament and will be distributed across A and B Level events.  Cash prize will be given to the winners in the main draws only.  Kids winners will get medals and will get merchandise from Sponsors. Timing: Exact draws time for different events will be published two days in advance. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your event time. If you are late by more than 10 minutes, you will be forfeited. No exceptions. If there are less than 5 members in a group, you may play a Round Robin within that group or may be moved to a higher skill level or age group. For Round Robin matches, it'll be one set with 25 points.
