Tournament UPDATE: 

• Minimum 6 teams required to conduct the Event.
• If you are late by 5mins when your name is called then your opponent team will get walk-over.

Welcome to GATA Badminton Tournament 2022!

While we want you to have fun during the event, player’s safety is most important factor for us. You are required to strictly follow the rules and guidelines of the club while you are in the facility. This will help us maintain a safe environment for everyone. 

Please come with a partner if you can, but if you don't have a partner, we'll try to find one for you at similar level. If we don't have the right partner for you, we will refund the money or add you to our next tournament. 

Each player may choose the partner during registration, however, each player has to register individually to the event. 

We want you to register for the event before the registration closes. BADMINTON SHOES ARE MANDATORY!!!

All winners and runners-up will get medals.

Matches are played for 30 points until semis and 21 points, best of 3 sets in finals.

If time is a contraint then the matches will be extended to sunday! Please plan accordingly!!!

There will not be any umpires during the matches. This will help us limit the number of people in the club. Players are expected to show utmost sportsmanship and respect other players' calls. 

If there are less than 6 pairs in each level, we may choose to club them with other levels/cancel them. The Tournament Director has the right to change the rules anytime and cannot be contested.
