Welcome to Bhindi Jewellers' Paddle Battle of Atlanta -2.
Tournament is open for all levels of players and is a non-sanctioned tournament.
Team Creation: Please create your own teams or join a team @ a2msports.com/teams or using our A2M Sports Mobile App, before you register for the tournament.
Team Rating (Championship): Each Team will have 3 players. The combined USATT rating of all players in a team can't be more than 5000. Rating eligibility is calculated on March 31st. This will allow fair competition between different teams. If a player doesn't have a USATT Rating, he/ she needs to get an estimated rating from a professiona coach at a Table Tennis Club like ARC.
Amatuer Teams: We also have Amateurs teams who don't play at USATT tournaments and have a estimated rating of less than 1500. In this case, total team rating can't be more than 3000.
League Matches: Each team will play 3 Singles Lines and 1 Doubles Line against the other team in a Round Robin. Who plays in what line is decided by the captain. Both captains will swap the Scorecards (with lineup) before the matches begin and once it's exchanged, the lineup can NOT be changed. All Round Robin matches are in best of 3 format.
Playoffs: Top two teams from each group will play in the Playoffs in a Knockout bracket. In Playoffs, each team will play Line 1 Singles, Line 2 Singles and a Doubles match in that order. The team that wins two matches will proceed to the next match. If a team wins first two matches, there is no need to play the 3rd match. If a doubles match is needed, the 3rd player that did not play the singles has to be part of that match. All matches in Playoffs are played in Best of 5 format.
Fees: Each team pays $75 to register. Team captain will pay when he/ she registers the team. If you withdraw the team before Feb 15th, all fees will be refunded. No refunds after that date.
T-Shirts: All teams who register before March 30th will get a Paddle Battle T-shirt.
Prizes: For Championship level, there will be $300 prize for the winning team and $100 for the runner-up. For Amateur level winners and runners will get medals.
Newgy: Newgy, RoboPong maker, will give gift certificates for all winners and runners up teams. $150 for winners and $75 for runners up.
